Charan Sparsh Yatras are those in which we follow the footsteps of legends. They involve many destinations those are connected with a cause. – Char Dham Yatras, Ramayan Circuit, Panch Kailash Yatras, Jyotir Linga Yatras are such yatras in which Darshan in a single location will not satisfy the whole purpose.
In India, many Theerth Yatra Kendras are situated on difficult terrains. Thus this remained inaccessible for most of the devotees for long ages. Nowadays due to the improvement in transportation they are accessible for common people and they do visit these divine lands often.
As per Puranas, Theerth Yatras are supposed to be done by foot. As it’s clear from this statement, Theerth Yatras on hill stations involves trekking. Higher physical strength and painstaking practice is required for such yatras.
When Devas came to this land and lived along with humans, Itihasas were born. These lands still carry the blessings and remain divine. When you go there you are able to feel the presence of these celestial beings and thus able to be a part of the Itihasas
Some places and temples are not open throughout the year. This is either because of climate or because of the special rituals involved in the Pooja of the respective Deity. In some cases temples and places aspire special importance during some specific period as well.
