Dayara Bugyal trek goes through open land and dense forest at different places ending up at the vast expanse of a lush green meadow. Most of the trekkers start their trek from Barsu village and they trek down via Raithal to see the scenic beauty of both the routes of Dayara Bugyal.

Package special notes
  • The journey goes up to 11,000 feet from sea level and involves moderate trekking. So make sure you have enough physical fitness for this journey before you leave for the journey. 
  • In order to make entry passes, passengers have to send their photo and Aadhar details one week prior to the trip.
  • All food served will be vegetarian
  • Yatra can get canceled by authorities due to various reasons, in such incidents, no refund will be initiated.
  • In case of an emergency medical situation, additional charges for evacuation and treatments has to be borne by the passengers.

Package Itinerary

    Day 1
    Reach Dehradun airport and get transferred to Raithal village. Raithal village is a quaint village in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Perched at an elevation of 1,800 meters amidst the lush greenery, Raithal village is popular among seasoned trekkers as it is the base camp of Dayara Bugyal. On arrival check in to homestay and take a rest. The night will be at Raithal village.

    Day 2
    Start trek from Raithal to Chilapda after breakfast. Chilpada campsite is the second camp on our Dayara Bugyal Trek and is 8 KM away from Raithal. Chilapada has Small open grassland grounds, surrounded by pine forests and fresh snow is a site to hold. Lunch will be served in between. This is a good place to recover before the summit. Dinner & night stay in tents at Chilapada camp.

    Day 3
    Have an early breakfast and start your trek from Chilapda to Dayara Bhugiyal top and come down to Nayata. Lunch will be served in between This will take approximately 6-7 hours and cover a distance of 9.5 KM. Night stay and dinner at Nayata camp.

    Day 4
    Have an early breakfast and trek down from Nayata to Raithal. The Trek distance is 8.3 km and may take 4 to 5 hours. On arrival visit Raithal village heritage House & Ma Jagdamba Temple. Lunch, Dinner, and Night stay at Raithal village.

    Day 5
    Drive back to Dehradun from Raaithal. This is a 167 km journey and can take 6 hours. Once reached Dehradun airport continue for your onward journey with beautiful memories from the trek.

Cancellation Policy

  • Within 15 days of Arrival Date/ No Show: No Refund
  • 15 Days to 30 Days prior to Arrival: 50% of the total package cost.
  • 30 Days & More: 10% of package cost (and taxes are not refunded in any case)
  • Note: No refunds in case of Road Blocks, Accidents, Govt. lockdown, curfew, Yatra cancellation etc.
