Description
Sri Mookambika Temple in Kollur, Udupi district is one of the seven most sacred spots of Salvation and is dedicated to the Goddess of emotional power and strength. Adi Shankaracharya, the great philosopher, has consecrated the idol of Goddess Mookambika. he has visited this temple to perform penance as well. On the top of the Kudajadri mountain is the Shankara Peetam (also called Sarvajna Peetam), a place where Adi Shankaracharya did Tapas in order to get blessings from Devi. Murdeshwar Temple is surrounded on three sides by the waters of the Arabian Sea. It is dedicated to Sri Lokankara. Udupi Shri Krishna Temple is a well-known historic Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and Dvaita Matha.

1Day 1Arrive at Mangalore Airport/Mookambika Road (Baindur) railway station and get transported to Kollur Shree Mookambika temple. Check in to the hotel and take a rest. In case interested can have Darshan at Temple. Night stay at the hotel.

2Day 2From early morning Darshan to the last Puja of the night, stay in the Temple and participate in all Pujas. It is believed that devotees need to be there for a whole day in the temple. During the Puja breaks, breakfast, lunch, visiting the Sauparnika River, and taking some rest at the hotel are possible. Once Pujas are over withdraw to the hotel after dinner and take a rest.

3Day 3Early morning start to Kudajadri Hills to see Shankara Peetham. After the Darshan of Kudajadri temples around 40 minutes to climb is there to reach this place. By noon come back to Kollur and leave for Murudeswar. After Darshan at Murudeswar go for Uduppi. Once Uduppi Temple Darshan is done then take a rest at the Hotel.

4Day 4Drop at the airport or Railway station for your onward journey home along with the blessings and memories from this divine yatra.
