The second-most visited Hindu pilgrimage destination in India, Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Temple is situated in the Trikuta Hills in Katra, Jammu & Kashmir. Hindu devotees from all over the world visit this famed religious site where the Mother Goddess or Mata Vaishno Devi is said to fulfill their wishes. This religious place is considered the most important Shaktipeeth as it is believed, here the skull of the Goddess Sati fell.

Package Itinerary

    Day 1
    Arrive at the Jammu Railway Station/ Airport where you will get assisted transport to the hotel along with a quick briefing on the tour. Your accommodation will be in the nearby town of Katra. On arrival in Katra, check in to the hotel and have some rest. As the rest of the day has no activities listed from our end you can head out to explore local temples and markets. Some of the most sought-after places that you can visit in Katra are the Nau Devi Temple, Bhairo Baba Temple, Bhimgarh Fort, and Dera Baba Banda. Later come back for Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 2
    Wake up real early, have breakfast, then start your journey towards Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. Katra base camp is at an altitude of 2500 feet above sea level and Mata's Bhawan is located at 5200 feet within the folds of Trikuta Mountain. During the trek, take appropriate breaks and replenish yourself with some snacks and water at regular intervals. You will probably be able to reach the gates of Vaishno Devi by afternoon and then proceed for the darshan. After puja, aarti and darshan start trekking downhill toward the base camp. Reach Katra in the evening and proceed to the hotel for dinner and a well-deserved rest after the tiresome journey of the day.

    Day 3
    Once morning breakfast is done then proceed to check out from the hotel. Get transferred from the hotel to the nearest Railway Station/ Airport for your onward journey home with the blessings and delightful memories of  Ma Vaishno Devi.

Cancellation Policy

  • Within 15 days of Arrival Date/ No Show: No Refund
  • 15 Days to 30 Days prior to Arrival: 50% of the total package cost.
  • 30 Days & More: 10% of package cost (and taxes are not refunded in any case)
  • Note: No refunds in case of Road Blocks, Accidents, Govt. lockdown, curfew, Yatra cancellation etc.
